Favorites

Summary: Defines and explains how the Favorites page works.

Favorites is located in the upper right corner of every page. The purpose is to provide you with a place to gather the photographs you are interested in the most and to allow an easy method to narrow the choices to a final purchase. You can always add them directly to your Cart, but some people would rather only add the things they know they will be purchasing. I hope you can use Favorites for your convenience!

Plus Signs
Throughout the site, you will see plus signs. When you view photos, click on the plus sign to add it to your favorites. Next to each photo title there is a plus sign. When you click on the plus sign, a message will pop up, letting you know it has been added to the Favorites. Instead of bookmarking your photos, or worse, remembering where they were, you can store them here. As long as you are using the same computer, a cookie will store your selections for you. Visit your Favorites at any time to see your list.

Minus Signs
Once you have clicked on a plus sign, it becomes a minus sign. As you browse around, any time you come across a photo that is already in your Favorites, it will have a minus sign. Click on the minus sign to delete it from your Favorites, instead of having to got to your Favorites to do so.

Favorites and Cards
The Art Cards is a great place to use Favorites. Art Cards has a section for browsing single cards, with thumbnails of all available cards. This is meant to provide a convenient way of browsing cards quickly. Well, with Favorites, you can scroll up and down through the list and just click on any that are of interest, and removing any you have changed your mind about. Then, when you feel you have had a pretty good look, go to Favorites, and you can then be more selective.

Favorites Details
On the Favorites page, each of your choices is listed. Under each one is a minus sign and Card or Print, depending on if the photo is a card or a print. Click on he minus sign to remove it from your Favorites. Click on card, or print, to visit the details page for the photo.

Final Favorites
Once you have narrowed down you choices, click on card, or print, and add it to your Cart via the pricing choices for the photo. Then, when you view your Cart, decide on which ones you would like to order and proceed to check out when you are ready!
